Group Enjoins Ododo to Imbibe Policy Of Inclusive Governance in Kogi

The Chairman of the United progressive political parties in Kogi state, Alhaji Idris Bala on Monday in Lokoja appealed to the governor elect, Alhaji Usman Ododo to be
magnanimous in Victory by demonstrating the policy of all inclusive governance in the state.

Alhaji Bala who made the appeal at a press conference held at Riverton Hotel, Lokoja enjoined Ododo to extend a hand of fellowship to all the political parties that struggled through the process of becoming the Governor to present their agenda for the development of Kogi State, since the overriding principle is to bring a change for better.

“We appeal to Governor elect Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo to build on uniting the state where section of the three senatorial districts are treated fairly without any iorta of sentiments, “united we stand and divided we fall” your mandate is consolidation and discovering new grounds for posterity.”

The chairman appealed to all the stakeholders that participated in the quest to rule the state to please exercise restraints for the peace of kogites, since without peace, there’s no development.

“We salute all our security agencies for standing tall in your assignment for neutrality in the monitoring of this election devoid of intimidation, conspiracy with any arm of the ruling power to pervade injustice.”

He, however, appealed to aggrieved parties not to take law into his/her hands, as a law abiding citizen, there are various ways of ventilating all grievances. All political party candidates should also come together to build a Kogi of our dream where ethnicity, religion and sectionalism has no place,
Agenda Setting

“We are using this medium to congratulate INEC to have painstakingly followed the processes of conducting the most freesiest, credible and transparent, election since 1999 Democratic governance.”

“This election is substantially in compliance with the electoral laws, and the electoral umpires has followed the electoral guidelines as amended, devoid of any iorta of sentiments, agenda sitting or ethnicity.”

“INEC announced the result after due deligent collation of results from all local government areas of Kogi State and we make bold to say that this election is free, fair and credible and therefore acceptable to us.”

“We congratulate the winner of the just concluded November 11th, 2023 gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo the candidate of APC.”

“We shall not forget in a hurry to commend His Excellency Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello for his dexterity, and doggedness for providing leadership in all ramifications, posterity will not forget you.”
