Herders Invade Farmlands, Kill Farmers in Borno

Herdsmen kill at least three  farmers while ransacking farmlands around Gubio villages in Borno State.

The Armed herdsmen stormed the settlement of Modu Mairamti and fought the villagers, burning their houses and farmlands on a revenge mission.

Zagazola reports that the herders who are  notorious known at damaging farmlands also attacked some members of the Civilian Joint Task Force who tried to stop them from destroying the farmlands.

One Member of Civilian Joint Task Force said that the herders attacked them with bow and arrows, smashing their vehicles and chasing them with guns.
