“I am from a royal home, I respect elders” Gov. Sule React

Engr. Abdullahi Sule has reacted on the speculated ‘rift’ with his predecessor, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura saying he is from a royal home and have respect for elders.

He said this today while reacting to media speculation of a rift between him and Al-Makura, when indigenes of Lafia Local Government Area of the State paid him a thank-you visit over the appointment of Barrister Aliyu Ubandoma as Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

He emphasises that, his relationship with Al-Makura is intact, stressing that he has respect for the former governor.

In his word Sule he said: “I’m from a royal family, and I have respect for elders, I respect former Governor Umaru Al-Makura, and I will continue to do so as long as I live.

He however appeal to the social media practitioners and other media platforms, members of the public to be professional in writing stories and avoid stories that is capable of instigating him against his predecessor.

On his part, senator Al-Makura also disregard allegations, adding that the governor and him have come a long way and will not allow issues on the media to affect their relationship.

He further urged the good people of Nasarawa to support Governor sule enable him move the state to the next level.
