Ijoba Lande Reveals Payment After a Month on Set with Funke Akindele

Controversial Nollywood actor and comedian, Ijoba Lande, has shared details about his earnings after spending a month on set with filmmaker Funke Akindele.

In an audio clip circulating online, Ijoba Lande recounted his time at Amen Estate, where the movie was filmed. He revealed that despite working on the project for a month, he was paid ₦90,000.

“There was a time Funke Akindele called me for a movie production at Amen Estate, and we spent one month,” he said.

Reflecting on his experience, he advised upcoming actors not to idolize top producers or see them as untouchable figures.

“I will advise upcoming actors never to see any top actor as God. I have learned my lessons,” he added.

Ijoba Lande, who recently made headlines over allegations involving his wife and Nollywood actors, also stated that moving forward, he would always negotiate his fees before taking on any film role.
