Ayuba highlighted the constant threats posed by terrorists in the Gefe community since November last year, expressing the community’s urgent need for government intervention and security support.

The resident emphasized the adverse impact of the attacks on farming activities, urging the government to provide food and fertilizer to alleviate hunger and agricultural setbacks in the community.

Ayuba called for the deployment of security operatives in the area to restore confidence among residents and apprehend the perpetrators.

As of now, no contact has been established with the terrorists for ransom negotiations. The two deceased victims were laid to rest on Tuesday, 7th May 2024, in accordance with Christian rites.

Efforts to reach the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, for comments were unsuccessful.

This incident follows a recent attack on the Kajuru-Station community, where terrorists abducted 87 people and looted shops, as confirmed by Harisu Dari, a member of the Kajuru-Station Youths.
