JUSUN Clarifies Stance on Protests in Osun State Judiciary Dispute

By Milcah Tanimu

In response to the ongoing conflict between Osun State Chief Judge, Justice Adepele Ojo, and the state government, the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has issued a clarification. JUSUN’s national body stated that it has not given any directives for its members to participate in protests or picketing activities in Osun State or elsewhere. The union warned its members against engaging in any unauthorized picketing, protest, or job boycotting. This clarification comes amid unrest in the Osun State Judiciary, where accusations against the Chief Judge have prompted protests by JUSUN members.
