Kaduna Electric is enhancing its power supply and service reliability for commercial and industrial customers by upgrading its infrastructure. The company has embarked on significant improvements across its franchise states, as announced by Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed, the deputy managing director/COO, during an inspection of a sub-station in Kaduna.

In the past month, Kaduna Electric has introduced three 11KV Commercial Feeders in Kaduna and Sokoto States. This multi-million naira investment aims to enhance the quality of power supply for commercial and industrial customers while reducing technical and commercial losses.

Mohammed stated, “We have installed a 2.5MVA Power Transformer and dedicated three 11KV Feeders to serve commercial and industrial customers in Kaduna and Sokoto. This initiative will improve the quality of supply and reduce ATC&C losses.”

He emphasized the company’s commitment to better service delivery through strategic investments and process automation to boost its commercial performance. Additionally, Mohammed assured customers that more investments are on the horizon to guarantee improved electricity services.
