Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has reiterated his administration’s dedication to fostering authentic reconciliation with the people of Southern Kaduna. The governor conveyed this commitment in a message to the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association Pastor’s Congress held at the Throneroom Trust Ministry in Kafanchan.

Represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Religious Affairs (Christian Matters), Rev. Ishaya Jangado, Governor Sani expressed the readiness of his government to rectify the mistakes of past administrations for the progress and development of the state. He urged the Christian community in the region to unite in support of the current administration’s pursuit of an all-inclusive government.

Apostle Emmanuel Kure, Chairman of the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association, commended the governor for his efforts in promoting unity within the state. He pledged the association’s support for initiatives aimed at fostering peaceful religious coexistence and announced plans to establish a special fund to assist pastors facing challenges in the area.

Addressing the congregation, Kure dismissed rumors of receiving funds from politicians during the 2023 general elections, emphasizing the association’s commitment to integrity. Other speakers at the event highlighted the importance of overcoming denominational differences within Christendom and focusing on the shared goal of spreading the gospel.

The gathering also expressed condolences to the family of the late Gen. Yakubu Kure, offering prayers for strength and fortitude for the immediate family, the government, the Nigerian Army, and the nation as a whole. The pastors passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of the association, acknowledging their efforts in enhancing the image of the Church in Southern Kaduna.
