Kano Assembly Collaborates with NPC For Census Mass Awareness.

The Kano State House of Assembly, under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has initiated a collaboration with the National Population Commission (NPC) to drive mass awareness efforts for the upcoming census slated for the year 2025.

In a statement issued on Monday, spokesperson Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai underscored the pivotal role of accurate census data in advancing crucial sectors within society.

The importance of the census in the welfare and development of the populace was emphasized.

Falgore reiterated the commitment of the Kano Assembly to partner with the National Population Commission in Kano to bolster mass awareness mechanisms for the impending nationwide census.

Furthermore, the Honorable speaker lauded the efforts of Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa in revitalizing the commission in Kano and affirmed the continued support of the Kano Assembly for collaborating with the National Population Commission in Kano under Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa’s stewardship.

During a courtesy visit, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, the Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission in Kano State, expressed gratitude for the warm reception by the Speaker.

Dr. Tsanyawa also appealed to the Honourable Members for their assistance in fulfilling their mandate, particularly in the census domain, as the country approaches its first-ever electronic census.

This alliance is poised to enhance public awareness and communication channels for the benefit of the citizens of Kano State.
