Kano Governor Inaugurates 21 Permanent Secretaries and 14 Special Advisers

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State inaugurated 21 new permanent secretaries and 14 Special Advisers, emphasizing that their appointments were based on merit and devoid of political influence. During the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Yusuf highlighted the criteria of competence, experience, dedication to duty, and a proven fear of God as key factors in the selection process.

Addressing the appointees, the governor urged them to view their appointments as valuable and integral to the NNPP’s new dispensation, emphasizing the need for decorum and professionalism in their roles. He emphasized the administration’s commitment to ushering in a renewed era focused on making Kano a state of hope and development.

Governor Yusuf reminded the appointees of the government’s zero tolerance for incompetence and abuse of office, urging them to dedicate themselves to serving humanity and the state.
