Kano state governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf has been called upon to upgrade the famous Waziri Gidado hospital to a more standard health care facility in his administration’s policy on healthcare delivery services.
In a series of chats with our correspondent during his visit to the hospital Tuesday, some people who went to the place to symphasize with patients disclosed that Waziri Gidado is a very popular hospital that needs urgent rehabilitation and renovation to look global.
Malam Isah Garba who went to the hospital to greet a patient told Daybreak News that ” This place is a nice facility to visit on medication purposes because it is one of the best hospital that accommodate patients from all over the catchment area which also needs government’s special care”. He emphasized.
Furthermore, Hajiya Jummai Adamu from Ungogo local government area said that certainly Waziri Gidado hospital is one of the best healthcare facility especially to women on maternity, where she urges Kano governor Abba Gida-Gida to rehabilitate the place to an exemplary place especially at present when the governor is making efforts towards the progress of healthcare sector.
Our correspondent who went round the hospital reported that the hospital is in needs of general renovation and rehabilitation to look more competent in giving all the necessary healthcare delivery especially when the hospital management team are trying their best to keep the hospital’s flag flying day and night.
