KEDCO Seeks Public Collaboration to Protect Installations from Vandals

By Jabiru Hassan

The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has called on the general public to assist in safeguarding its installations across the franchise states under its management.

This appeal was made by KEDCO’s Managing Director, Abubakar Yusuf, during a press conference at the company’s corporate communications unit. He emphasized the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance electricity supply and called for public cooperation in protecting infrastructure.

Represented by Malam Abubakar Jimeta, Yusuf acknowledged technical issues contributing to the current electricity challenges but assured that improvements in electricity distribution are expected in the near future.

Alhaji Abubakar Yusuf also expressed gratitude to KEDCO’s customers in Kano, Katsina, and Jigawa states for their patience during periods of technical difficulties. He urged for continued understanding and a strong, cooperative relationship between KEDCO and its consumers.
