Despite a brief rally from Napoli, who scored through Giovanni Simeone in the 36th minute, Lazio held onto their lead. The match, marked by strategic substitutions, allowed Lazio to dominate and secure a spot in the quarter-finals.
This win means Lazio will face the winner of the Inter Milan vs. Udinese match in the next round, further strengthening their Coppa Italia aspirations.
