Lobi Stars New Head Coach Agagbe Promises to Uplifts Club

The new Head Coach of Lobi Stars Football Club, Makurdi, Mr Eugene Agagbe has assured that he will bring his expertise to bear on his assignment towards uplifting the team to an enviable heights.

Coach Agagbe who gave this assurance at the Marcaty Stadium, Makurdi after he was unveiled by the Club’s Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dominic Iorfa, at a media briefing, stated that a task has been given to him to showcase his talent towards the growth of the club.

“A task has been given to me to work hard and showcase myself so that when Iam not here, other coaches from the state will take over from me. So far so good, we have played 2-2 in Oweri, yesterday by the special grace of God, we came victorious, 3 goals to 2 against Sunshine of Akure. On the table so far, we are second.”

The Head Coach stated that the Vice Chairman of the team believes in his ability to make the club second to none in the game of football in the country, pointing out that he won’t disappoint them.

Coach Agagbe who was the Interim Coach of Lobi Stars between 2022 and 2023, said the team engaged the Rangers International in Auka, which his club Lobi played 5 goals to 3.

He appreciated the Vice Chairman of the team, Mr Iorfa for finding him worthy to serve in the capacity of Head Coach, assuring that he won’t let the club down.
