Muslim College of Health Science distributes laptop to students in Kaduna

Muslim Community College of Health Science and Technology Funtua, Katsina State, has given out Laptop Computers to various students for their outstanding performance in the National Board Examination.


The benefiting departments include Community Health, Medical Laboratory Science, Health Information Management and Dental Health Departments respectively.


A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the College,Abdullahi Lawal Maiyasin stated that the ceremony was an annual event to recognised institutions or individuals who exceledl with outstanding performance in their discipline and keen in projecting the College aims and objectives.


“This year’s event is special by given out a set of Laptop Computers to each participant that emerge first position in the inter Schools science quiz competition”, the statement added.Other gifts presented at the occasion ware the trophy won by the College football team during the Katsina State Medical and Health Workers Union tournament, certificates of winning to Departments in cooking competition, football and lots more.

In a closing remarks, His Highness Alhaji Sambo Idris Sambo, the Sarkin Maskan Katsina, District Head of Funtua, said ‘I am delighted to witness the occasion which symbolize that the College has not only excelled in curricular activities but also in extra-curricular. “With the look of things, the College is capable of producing good students and even best housewives”, he stated.He also congratulated the recipients and advise them to make best use of the electronic gadgets and other educational materials they won as it will help them in their academic pursuits.


The provost, Muslim Community College of Heath Science and Technology, Funtua, Alhaji Umar Aminu Imam together with the chairman Board of Trustees, Sarkin Maskan Katsina (District Head of Funtua) Sambo Idris Sambo joins other stakeholders in celebrating the Departments for their outstanding performance in their various National Board Examinations. 

Among the invited guest at the occasion was the Deputy Chairman BoT of the College, Alh. Lawal Osman, Alh. Yahaya Musa, Director, Katsina State Ministry of Education and Khalifa  Aliyu Sheik Saidu Alti Funtua. End.
