By Alex Tsado
Napoli’s manager, Francesco Calzona, has commended Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for his return to form after scoring a hat-trick against Sassuolo. Osimhen, who started the Italian Serie A game, contributed two goals in the first half and completed his hat-trick in the second half. He also provided an assist for another goal as Napoli secured a 6-1 victory. Calzona mentioned that Osimhen struggled initially after the 2023 AFCON but is gradually rediscovering his form. The coach expressed satisfaction with the team’s overall performance, noting the positive attitude and eagerness to work among the players.
