Nasarawa state Assembly begins screening of commissioner-nominees

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has began the screening of commissioner nominees submitted by Governor Abdullahi A Sule.

The first person to be screened was pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya from ToTo LGA, who was recognised by the speaker of the house lbrahim Balarabe who said he was  a honourable man from Toto lga and a man of integrity.

Hon. Othman Bala who was a House of Representatives member of the party in Keffi LGA Constituency between 2011 and 2015 based on the standing rule of the house as a former member was asked to take a bow and go.

Others screened are, Dr. Abdulkareem Abubakar Kana a lawyer, and one time Attorney  General of the state, from Kokona LG,  Obadiah Danboyi from Akwanga constituency, a retired civil servant, Hon. Aliyu Turaki Yusuf from Awe LGA, Dr. Salisu Ahmed Alizaga Nas. Eggon

Others are Dogo Shama the present NUJ chairman who is from Wamba  LGA of the state, Prof. Otaki Alanan from keana local government
