NCCE approves 30 programmes for College of education Gindiri

The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) has approved the full accreditation of 30 programmes in the College of Education Gindiri located in Mangu Local government council of Plateau state .

The cheering news was made known by the Acting Provost of the college, Prof. Lazarus Maigoro to newsmen in Jos on Monday.

The Provost in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the college Elizabeth Aboreng, said with this approval, the College will now admit NCE students in Special Education in the ongoing admission exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The statement reads that so far “30 programmes of the College of Education, Gindiri have been fully accredited. .”

” The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) has also granted approval for the re-establishment of the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Science which was closed down 15 years ago.”

The Acting Provost Prof. Lazarus Maigoro on behalf of Management, Staff and Students wishes to express his gratitude to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang for his magnanimity in funding the accreditation exercise.

With this, the college can now attain it’s full potential in given quality Teacher Education ,the statement further reads.
