New Service Chiefs Storm Maiduguri


The newly appointed Service Chiefs Storm Maiduguri on Sunday afternoon.

Although their mission was not made clear, the service chiefs were led on the Maiduguri visit by Major-General Leo Irabor, the new Chief of Defence Staff.

Those on the visit are: Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice.

The visit is expected to provide the opportunity for the new service chiefs to meet with critical stakeholders and to draw new direction and inspiration on tackling insurgency in Maiduguri.
