Nigerian Farmers Working To Boost Food Production, Promotes Food Security-AFAN President

The AFAN  National President Architect Kabir Ibrahim announced that Nigerian farmers are working hard to boost food production and promote food security in the country with supports from the president Muhammadu Buhari’s policy on agriculture.
He stated this in a press statement he personally signed and issued to our correspondent, adding that the present administration is trying to ensure that agriculture is rapidly restored especially nowadays when the globe is changing in agricultural sector.
Architect Kabir Ibrahim opined that ” Nigerian farmers remained very committed in food production because the federal government is bringing out more strategies that are meant for agricultural sector at both dry and rainfall season which is a landmark achievements as seen since the inception of the Buhari-led administration”. He lamented.
The AFAN National president thanked president Buhari for his efforts to assist farmers suffered from  flooding which is another testimony that the federal government is trying to compensate those who lost their crops as a result of heavy down pour in some states.
Architect Kabir Ibrahim said that AFAN appreciates the recent instruction givento CBN  by the president on food importation which would encourage Nigerian farmers to multiply production and assured that in the near future, price of foodstuffs would reduce in the country.
