Nigerian Troops Eliminate Wanted Bandit and Two Accomplices in Kebbi

In a significant operation, the Nigerian Army has successfully neutralized a notorious wanted bandit known as Mai-Nasara, operating in the Sangeko Forest of Kebbi State. Additionally, two other suspected bandits, believed to be part of the same criminal gang, were also eliminated during the operation.

This information was relayed in a press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kebbi State, Ahmed Aliyu, on Monday.

AbdulRahman Usman, the Director of Security at the Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi, shared the details of this successful mission. He commended the dedication and efforts of the security personnel in combating criminal activities, particularly in the southern region of the state.

Usman also appealed to the local residents to provide the necessary cooperation and support to these security forces. He emphasized the vital role the community plays in helping the security agencies achieve their objective of eradicating criminals and reinstating peace and normalcy in the region.

He stated, “Your support and cooperation are highly necessary for the security agencies to achieve the desired goal of flushing out criminals and restoring peace and normalcy in our land. Therefore, there is a need for people to assist the security agencies with credible intelligence towards successful combats.”
