Nollywood Star Charles Okocha Recounts Surviving Six Gunshots

By Abigail Philip David

Nollywood actor and comedian Charles Okocha, popularly known as Igwe 2Pac, has opened up about a harrowing experience in which he survived six gunshot wounds.

Speaking on a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask, Okocha detailed the incident, revealing that one of the bullets entered his stomach and exited through the other side.

During the interview, the host, Bae U Barbie, asked, “Is it true that you were shot six times?”

In response, Okocha lifted his shirt to display his scars and confirmed, “I want the whole world to see my scars. Six shots. One of the bullets went through my stomach and came out the other side.”

Reflecting on the ordeal, he added, “If you knew what I’ve been through, you wouldn’t even ask. I’m a survivor. Look at my life. Look at what I’ve overcome. I’m the last real one standing, and that’s a fact.”
