North Korea issues new threat to US

By Jennifer Y Omiloli

Pyongyang on Thursday undermined a “relating reaction”, three days after South Korea and the U.S. commenced two weeks of joint aviation based armed forces drills.

The “demonstrations of treacherousness” by Seoul had “significantly disillusioned us” and spoke to a “military incitement,” a representative for North Korea’s reunification board of trustees was cited as saying by state-run news organization, KCNA.

The drills are a downsized option in contrast to the gigantic Max Thunder penetrates that the U.S. what’s more, South Korea have organized each year since 2009.

The two nations have likewise reported the suspension of a few noteworthy joint military activities over the previous year, including Foal Eagle and Key Resolve in March, as a major aspect of a political push for North Korea to denuclearise.

Pyongyang has since quite a while ago saw the activities as an incitement and a practice for an attack on North Korea.

On Thursday, the spokesman said the changes “can never conceal the aggressive, offensive and confrontational nature of their hostile acts no matter how hard they may try to give (an) impression about ‘reduction in scope’ by replacing the code-name.

The drills were an “outright challenge’’ to the Panmunjom Declaration signed by North and South Korean leaders in 2018, he said.

“There will be a corresponding response to it from our army.’’

Tensions have been simmering between the U.S. and North Korea since U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, cut short a summit in Hanoi in February, after failing to reach an agreement on denuclearisation.
