By Jabiru Hassan, Kano.

The National Progressive group (NPG) has opined that the call for the sack of service chiefs is not the solutions to the Nigeria's security challenges where the group advised the security agencies to do more in the fight against insurgency and other activities that breach peace and unity in the country.

In a press release signed and issued to our correspondent in kano, by the group's secretary-General Malam Baahir Adam , NPG lamented that security issue is very sensitive especially at present when almost everywhere in Nigeria is facing a challenge ranging from kidnappings, banditry, armed robbery, cultism and related matters.

The group also discloses that the national security system is just in needs of restructuring in order to ensure that Nigeria also meets the global action against insecurity instead of sacking the current service chiefs, adding that t is time for the citizens to cooperate with all the security agencies in the war against insecurity across the country so as to restore peace  at both rural and urban settlements.

The  National Progressive Group called on the service chiefs to wake up and beat every aspects of security breach in order to makes Nigeria more greater in every sector, and tasked the federal government to ensure that offenders were punished severely due to serve as lessons to others.

In conclusion, the group hails president Muhammadu Buhari on his efforts towards the progress of this country as seen since he assume into office as the president and commander-in Chief of the federal republic of Nigeria.
