Osun OPC leader wants federal government to urgently secure release of abducted Kagara students

Osun State Coordinator, Chief Friedrick Fasheun led security outfit, Oodua Peoples’ Congress, (OPC) Alhaji Leke Akintayo popularly identify as “Olojongbodu” has condemned in totality the abduction of the students, teachers and others from the Government Science Secondary School, Kagara in Rafi Local Government area of Niger State by the bandits on Wednesday.

Akintayo who enjoined the federal government to urgently adopt a way of securing the abducted students and others, expressed worry over the spate of kidnapping and other forms of criminal activities in the country.

He made this known in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the Osun State capital on Thursday.

The security guru who called on President Muhammad Buhari to urgently fist out the people behind the ugly situation and bring them to book said the issue of banditry and kidnapping in the country needed urgent attention in order for the county to be in total peace for all.

The OPC leader called for holistic approach in the quest to end security challenges in the country.

He urged Nigerians particularly the stakeholders and security agencies to partner with the Odua Peoples’ Congress, (OPC) in the fight against the scourge.

Akintayo tasked the government and the citizens to remain committed to the peace and unity of the country pledging the readiness of the OPC to partner the government in combating the scourge of insecurity in Nigeria.
