Udemezue Bernard Abuchi, the representative of Ayamelum Constituency within the Anambra state House of Assembly, encountered obstruction when attempting to enter the Assembly complex due to his purported use of a tricycle, commonly referred to as a Keke.
A widely circulated online video captures Abuchi expressing his frustration at the denial of access to the Assembly premises. Amid his vocal protestation over not having been provided with a vehicle, women in the background remarked that cars would be allocated to senators in the near future, underscoring that tricycles are not permitted within the complex.
This footage has evoked a range of responses from various users on social media platforms.
ada_thefirst commented: “And listen to them shouting ‘very soon.’ It’s become a recurring pattern. They use our tax money to buy cars for themselves, as if we prefer not to witness them in tricycles.”
themeatvilla added: “Nevertheless, they might have permitted his entry through self-recognition.”
