Ozy Okposo Remembers Sammie Okposo on His First-Year Remembrance

On the first-year remembrance of the late gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, his wife, Ozy, took to Instagram to express her enduring love and commitment. Making a lifetime promise, she vowed to celebrate and cherish the memories they shared together.

In the heartfelt post, Ozy acknowledged the passing of a year without her beloved Sammie, expressing gratitude for the support of family and friends. Despite the challenges, she affirmed that God’s grace has been working for her.

Ozy reminisced about the things she misses most about Sammie, celebrating him as a gift to her, the world, and the body of Christ. She fondly remembered his jokes, their dances, surprises, and his unique singing, especially the early morning melodies. Despite the sorrow of his absence, she declared that His grace is sufficient.

The post concluded with a poignant message: “I celebrate you today and always. I miss you, I miss us… Your jokes, our dance, your surprises, your singing, especially the very early morning one, your laughter, your companion, your hugs, your very long prayers lol, mmmmm, His grace is sufficient for me… I celebrate you today and always.”

Ozy had previously shared her grief on Valentine’s Day, expressing the deep void left by Sammie’s absence. In July, she marked their 13th wedding anniversary, promising that his presence would always reside in her heart, embracing the sweet memories they created together.
