Phyna open to reconciling with Davido, says she would stream with him

Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has expressed her willingness to mend fences with Afrobeats star Davido, revealing that she would gladly accept an opportunity to stream with the singer if the chance arises.

Speaking during a recent livestream, Phyna said she is open to apologising to Davido but would first like clarity on what actually led to their fallout and how the singer viewed the comment that sparked their online clash.

The rift between the duo dates back to late 2023, when Davido appeared to like a post on X (formerly Twitter) that questioned Phyna’s relevance. The move was widely perceived as dismissive and drew backlash from Phyna and her fans, who accused the singer of bullying. Fellow reality TV star Tacha also joined the criticism at the time.

Since then, the incident has continued to generate debate among fans of both celebrities.

However, Phyna now appears ready to bury the hatchet, stressing that she is open to reconciliation once there is mutual understanding.

“If I get the opportunity to stream with Davido, I will take it. I will apologise to him, but before that, I would like to understand what really happened and how he saw the comment that caused the problem,” she said.
