It is being positioned as a flagship annual event that brings together key public, private, and development actors to foster inclusive economic transformation and catalyze sustainable business opportunities.
PLEIS 2025 is designed as a multi-stakeholder platform that focuses on strengthening Plateau’s business ecosystem, especially for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), under-tapped value chains, and emerging sectors such as ICT, agriculture, tourism, energy, and the creative economy.

He emphasized that the summit is curated to accelerate practical investment pipelines and scalable entrepreneurship models.
Akhimien noted that preparatory consultations are already underway with key Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), the Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency (PLASMIDA), the Plateau State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PLACCIMA), the organized private sector, and development institutions to ensure inclusive participation and local ownership.
