Police charge 40 suspects to court for looting in Taraba

The Taraba state police command has charged 40 suspects to court for looting of government and private warehouses in Jalingo, the state capital. 

Taraba police spokesperson, DSP David Misal said the suspects were charged to court for various offences including looting, vandalism, breach of peace and public disturbance.

Misal disclosed that more arrest were being made and some of the looted items recovered. He further added that they are on the trail of key suspects who were behind the looting in Jalingo.
