President Tinubu Holds Private Meeting with Wike and El-Rufai behind Closed Doors

President Bola Tinubu Engages in Private Discussion with Former Governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to reports , this meeting follows shortly after Wike’s ministerial confirmation by the Senate, while El-Rufai’s confirmation was withheld due to an alleged security report.

Wike’s arrival at the State House was noted around 1:40 p.m., followed by El-Rufai’s entry into the presidential wing of Aso Rock at approximately 2 p.m.

Insiders within the Presidential Villa have revealed that the discussion’s main focus will revolve around strategies aimed at securing the Senate’s confirmation for El-Rufai as a minister.
