PRP Candidate Patience Ndidi Appeals to Edo Residents as Visionary Leader

The People’s Redemption Party (PRP) governorship candidate for Edo State, Ms. Patience Ndidi, has urged residents to prioritize visionary leadership in the upcoming election, rather than focusing on emotional or superficial factors. Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, Ndidi emphasized that leadership capable of transforming the state transcends gender or party affiliations.

As the only female candidate in the September 21 governorship election, Ndidi called on voters to overlook vote-buying incentives and instead focus on electing a leader with the vision to tackle the state’s critical issues, including unemployment, poverty, and inadequate infrastructure such as roads, schools, and healthcare facilities.

Ndidi described herself as the “David” in the race, aiming to bring transformation, progress, and prosperity to Edo through human capital development. She stressed the importance of commitment, compassion, and accountability in leadership, urging voters to carefully consider their decision for the future of Edo State.

She also appealed to both men and women for support, highlighting the strong managerial skills and multitasking abilities of women in leadership. Ndidi encouraged unity among Edo residents to harness the state’s talents and resources, promising to address insecurity, unemployment, and hunger by empowering citizens and fostering job creation.
