Real Madrid striker Benzema mulling exit amid €200 million Saudi Arabia offer

Karim Benzema, the striker for Real Madrid, is contemplating a potential move to the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Ittihad. Reports suggest that the French international is considering leaving the Spanish capital after receiving an astonishing €200 million contract offer from Al-Ittihad, spanning two seasons.

Following the rejection of an initial offer, the Tigers have returned with an enhanced package to entice the Frenchman.

Karim Benzema, who joined Real Madrid in 2009 from Olympique Lyon, has an impressive track record. He has scored 353 goals and contributed 165 assists in a total of 647 matches for the club.Even with periods of injury sidelining him, the French forward showcased remarkable performance during the 2022-23 season. In 42 matches across various competitions, he managed to score 30 goals and provide six assists.Karim Benzema holds the esteemed position of being the second-highest goalscorer in the history of Los Blancos, with the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo being the only player ahead of him.
