Recovered body of makeup artist buried at river bank

Movie producer Stanley Ontop reported that the body of a makeup artist was buried in a small ceremony by the riverside due to insufficient funds to transport her body back to Akwa Ibom.

Following an accident, Gistreel reported three missing individuals, prompting divers to continue their search the next day. During their search, they found the bodies of the makeup artist, Abigail, and a camera assistant named Friday.

Although funeral arrangements for the other victims have yet to be finalized, Abigail’s body was buried in a small ceremony by the riverside.

Movie director Moses Eskor noted that Abigail’s father couldn’t afford the costs associated with the traditional rites needed to return her body to her home state. Although there were efforts to raise funds, they fell short.

Stanley Ontop referred to the loss as significant and called for the arrest of the producer and boat driver due to their negligence.
