Sabon-Birni Local Government has been ordered to help those who have been injured by gunmen

The Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Idris Muhammad Gobir, has ordered the Sabon Birni local government to continue to take responsibility for the treatment of 2 people who were injured by bandits in Kyalkale village in Tarah constituency of the local government. .

Alhaji Idris Gobir said that the two men needed medical help because of the condition they were in.

He also gave his contribution to the two men.

Explaining the situation, the father of the people, Malam Ilyasu Ibrahim, said that about 5 months ago, the bandits attacked them while they were working in the farm.

He said the bandits killed one of his sons, Adamu Ilyasu, 8 years old, by slaughtering a lamb, while his daughter, Suwaiba Ilyasu, 12 years old, was brutally stabbed in the throat.

He said because of the bad cuts they made on her, now she can’t even speak.

In addition, the bandits shot his younger brother, Zubairu Ismaila, 25 years old, on the head, hands and legs.

He said that Suwaiba’s throat was badly cut and she is now unable to speak due to the first operation that was done on her.

Mr. Ilyasu added that the second surgery will be conducted in the future.

In his comments, the governor of Sabon Birni local government, Alhaji Garba Kaba, promised to continue and help in providing medical personnel.

He said that since the accident happened, the local government has helped in providing medicine to those who were injured.
