SENATOR LALONG CONDOLES FAMILY OF SLAIN PLATEAU APC PUBLICITY SECRETARY, SYLVANUS NAMANG

> Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and leader of the party in the state, Simon Bako Lalong has visited the Jos residence of the murdered Publicity Secretary of the APC in Plateau State Mr. Sylvanus Namang to console them over the unfortunate incident.
>
> Lalong who was accompanied by the Senator representing Plateau Central, Diket Plang, Chairman House Committee on Navy and Member representing Pankshin, Kanke, Kanam Federal Constituency Yusuf Gagdi, Chairman of the APC in Plateau State Hon. Rufus Bature, party Exco, some former Commisioners and appointees said he was devastated by the death of Mr. Namang who did a lot for Plateau State, Nigeria and humanity.

> He said the gruesome murder of the late APC Spokesman was a heavy blow to the party as much as it is for the family.
>
> Lalong recalled that the deceased was a great man who worked hard for the cause of Plateau State even before joining active politics where he functioned very effectively.
>
> He assured the family that the APC and Government will not rest untill those behind the assassination of Namang are brought to justice.
>
> The former Plateau Governor told the widow of late Namang that they will not be left alone even at this very difficult time.
> Responding on behalf of the family, President of Mwaghavul Development Association said they are distraught by the unfortunate murder of their son who was a pillar and support to many.
>
> He appealed to the Government to intensify action in tracing and bringing to justice those who committed this henious crime in order to forestall similar act against others.
>
> Senator Lalong also presented a letter of condolence to APC Chairman in Plateau State Hon. Rufus Bature on behalf of the Members of the National Assembly from Plateau State.
>
> He charged the Chairman to closely work with the family for the burial arrangements which the party will fully support.
