Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has assured the newly posted Zonal Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ali Baba, of full support and cooperation to ensure the successful execution of his duties. The assurance was given during a courtesy visit by the Zonal Commander to Senator Wamakko’s residence in Gawon Nama, Sokoto, where he formally introduced himself following his recent posting to the state.
According to a release by the Senator’s spokesman, Bashar Abubakar, Wamakko emphasized that Sokoto State is known for its peaceful environment and respect for security and paramilitary leaders who visit for official duties. He encouraged Commander Ali Baba to feel at ease during his tenure in Sokoto and urged him to uphold the standards and professionalism of the FRSC to achieve success.
Commander Ali Baba expressed his gratitude to Senator Wamakko, highlighting the importance of receiving support from key leaders like the Senator to effectively manage the affairs of the Command. He requested an open line of communication for leadership advice, which he believes is essential for achieving the Command’s objectives.
Senator Wamakko reiterated his commitment to supporting the FRSC and other security agencies in their efforts to maintain safety and order in the state.
