Senator Wamakko Initiates Construction Of Two Model Hospitals In Sokoto

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Defense, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yakin Sokoto has initiated the construction of two Model Hospitals at Gudu Local Government area of Sokoto State.

The Hospitals are situated at Karfen Chana and Bachaka villages.

The construction of the Hospital at Bachaka has reached eighty five percent of completion, while that of Karfen Chana has reached sixty percent of completion.

According to the former lawmaker in the State House of Assembly who represented the area, Sani Alhaji Yakubu Gudu said that, the construction works of Bachaka General Hospital has Doctors’ residence.

It is expected to admit approximately fifty patients at a time, while the other one, a Maternity Hospital at Karfen Chana is expected to admit twenty patients at the same time.

Report has it that, a contractor handling the project is working assiduously to complete the project within the stipulated period.

The two Hospitals’ projects were all sited at the areas where they are directly needed when looking for urgent attention.

The projects are part of the constituency projects initiated by Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, representing Sokoto North Senatorial District.
