SHINKAFI SUFFERS ANOTHER HARD BLOW AS BANDITS KILL 12 JTF, WOUNDED TWO

Three days after the bandits’ attack and mass kidnap of over forty traders in Shinkafi and Kware towns both of Shinkafi local government, twelve civilian JTF were last Monday in the same local government, attacked and killed by the notorious bandits.

Our reporter gathered from the source that the newly engaged members of the JTF were heading back to their respective villages after holding a strategy security meeting when the were attacked by a large group of bandits, killing twelve and wounding two.

It would be recalled that the state governor Abdulaziz Yari had last month, instructed for the recruitment of 8500 civilian JTF across the state to assist the conventional security men in the information and intelligence mobilization.

In a similar development, group of bandits has on the same day, attacked Danjibga town of Tsafe local government and kidnapped a young man and two house wives of the same husband.

Findings show that one of the women was nine month pregnant and was on labour at the moment she was kidnapped.

A source told this Medium that the bandits have communicated to the husband that the wife has delivered a child while in their captivity.

The police command spokesman SP Shehu Muhammed said the police was still filing details over the incidence
