Sinoma donates containers to boost security operations in Kuje

In an effort towards building a stronger Nigerian-Chinese relations, as well as boosting security of its host community, Chinese construction company, Sinoma FABCOM, structural Ltd, has
donated two containers to the Kuje Military Check Point.

Speaking to newsmen during the launch of the donated containers
Managing Director of Sinoma FABCOM, Liu Xingwang, said that, the company seeks to invest in building Nigeria, and to also ensure the security of her citizens,noting that the donated containers were meant to assist the operation of the military post in Kuje, to boost security in the area.

Speaking about Sinoma Fabcom, Liu said the major aim of the company is to boost the housing sector in Nigeria through the development of local raw materials.

“We are here to invest in building materials which is our area of specialty.
“The donation of the containers to the security check points is to boost the security operations in Kuje to secure a peaceful community.

“Our policy is to better the housing conditions of the people through our building materials and over 80 percent of our staff are from Nigeria because we are aiming at seeing Nigerians in total control of this industry in the near future, through provision of Chinese technology and trainings on our spare parts because we believe that the people can do these things themselves.

In his appreciation towards the company’s gestures towards its host community, the Gomo of Kuje, HRH, Alhaji Haruna Tanko Jibrin, expressed gratitude to the company and noted that the community would always support the company. Alh. Jibrin said:
“I want to appreciate Sinoma FABCOM for their contributions to this community, mostly in the area of security as I see them as one that will really contribute its quota to Kuje Area Council.

“The issue of security is not one to be taken for granted because security is a daily business which we shall not relent on but continue to give our support to ensure a serene environment.

“I gave my blessings to the company since their first visit to me a year ago and we are giving them full support since we have been beneficiaries of their social responsibilities, through the employment of our sons and daughters.
“I would also want more Chinese companies to come and invest and contribute their quotas to the development of the people of Kuje.”

Also speaking at the occasion technical officer of operations, Standards Organisation of Nigeria, SON, Mr. G.S.B Dimka applauded the company’s standards of production, noting that Sinoma’s presence in Nigeria would enhance more competitive market for other investors, stating that the company satisfies the full requirements of the ISO rating, as he enjoined all others in the housing industry to step up their products to meet up with the requirements of SON for better housing schemes in the country, adding that the organisation looks up to Sinoma for sponsorship of a state of the art laboratory to further intensify its research on standard products in Nigeria.
