The chairman who was addressing newsmen at the party Secretariat further observed that since banditry started about three years ago, the governor never saw it a duty, being the Chief Security of the state, to brief Mr. President on the security situation

He said it is imperative to remind Tambuwal of the need to discountenance the rumors he is being is being fed by individuals on the raging insecurity challenges in the state.

“It is greatly disturbing how he recently unleashed an absolutely misdirected attack on Senator Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir, instead of buckling up and facing his glaring failures.

” The APC in the state is worried that the governor has been handling the issues of security with kid gloves,it was demeaning of his status to publicly embarrass the security chiefs in the by asking them in the presence of everyone whether they have been under his control”.

Speaking on the state of emergency on education, Achida noted that the electorate in Sokoto are yet to feel and see the impact of the declaration by the state government.

“Primary and Secondary schools structures remained dilapidated across the state, they also lack adequate assorted furniture, instructional materials and other relevant facilities.

” The teaching profession has continued to suffer neglect, teachers are being demoted and redeployed for political reasons, nothing has changed in the sector in spit of the huge deductions of monies from salaries of workers in the name of Emergency on Education”,the chairman lamented.

With the coming of rainy season, the chairman said he is reminding the governor of his promise to rehabilitate the roads in Mabera where one needs a canoe to paddle through the flood ravaged access road in the area.

“Over 39 such road projects were captured and approved in 2019 budget tagged as an ongoing across the state,in all the cases, provisions were made and money allocated for the completion of those projects, unfortunately, almost all the roads earmarked for rehabilitation, asphalting and construction highlighted as ongoing in the budget have still remained as they were”.
