Sokoto Police Command Deploys Security For Sallah Celebration

The Sokoto Zone Police Commissioner Kamaldeen Kola Okunlola has said the forthcoming Eid-el Kabeer Salah celebration slated for 20th and 21st July, 2021 would be crime free as the State Police Command has mobilized policemen to provide the desired security before, during and after celebrations. 


A release by the commands’ spokesman ASP Sanusi Abubakar assured the public of its commitment to protect lives and properties of the citizens irrespective of time ,venue and circumstances.


 “This arrangement will cover all praying grounds across the state ,constant surveillance, patrol and visibility policing to ensure a hitch free Sallah celebration”  he said.


While wishing Muslim faithful a successful Eid El-Kabeer celebrations, CP Kamaldeen kola Okunlola enjoined all and sundry to be security conscious and provide credible information to enable the police serve them better.
