The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has condoled with the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, over the demise of his daughter, Khadijah.The late Khadijah passed away in Abuja over the weekend, aged 35. She was buried in Katsina according to Islamic rites.
The Speaker, in his condolence message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, on Tuesday, described Khadijah’s passing as a painful loss, noting that she died in her prime. Speaker Abbas sent his deepest condolences to the Katsina Emirate, the people, and government of Katsina State over the loss.”My prayers are with the family of the Emir of Katsina, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abdulmumin Kabir Usman, at this moment of grief,” the Speaker said.While praying to Allah (SWT) to forgive Khadijah’s shortcomings, the Speaker prayed for Jannatul Firdaus to be her final abode.
