Temilade Openiyi, widely known as Tems, is thrilled about the successful completion of the North American leg of her inaugural world tour, titled ‘Born in the Wild.’

In a recent Instagram post, the Lagos-born Grammy award winner expressed her gratitude to her team, family, and fans for their unwavering support. “Born in the Wild Tour #Northamerica has successfully come to an end! All I’m filled with is joy and gratitude for this experience, my team, my family, and most especially my wonderful fans. I feel like I’m part of something that’s much bigger than me. I’m glad to have met so many beautiful souls and to have fallen in love with you all. Thank you!” she wrote.

The tour kicked off its European leg on June 11, 2024, at Eventim Apollo in London, while the North American leg began on August 22, 2024, in Miami.

Supporting acts for the tour included American singer Naomi Sharon, Lekan, and Nigerian-American artist Godwin.

The concerts will continue into November, with the Australian leg set to take place in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Moore Park. The dates for the African leg have yet to be announced, but it is expected to start on October 19, 2024.

During the tour, Tems performed hit songs such as ‘Not An Angel,’ ‘Love Me JeJe,’ ‘Burning,’ ‘Wickedest,’ and ‘Damages.’
