President Bola Tinubu celebrates the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, as she marks her birthday on January 15.
In a congratulatory message signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, made available to newsmen on Wednesday, the President described Dr. Mahmoud as a dedicated public servant a woman of impeccable character and intellect.
President Tinubu commended her for working harmoniously with the Minister of FCT to achieve the landmark transformation witnessed in the territory in the past two years.
The President’s message read, “Dr. Mahmoud’s career in public service as a seasoned medical consultant on community health and as a former Commissioner for Higher Education in Kano State stands as a testament to her visionary leadership.”
“Her contributions in strengthening institutions, advancing educational standards, and championing policies that uplift communities, particularly the most vulnerable, are noteworthy.”
“As a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, she has consistently leveraged her position to open doors, inspire confidence, and create opportunities for countless women and young girls to thrive.”
The President prayed that the coming years will bring renewed strength, wisdom, and good health to the FCT Minister of State.
