Untold story of how Gbagyi man escaped from bandits captive in Kaduna

..Returns with heavy body injuries

The victim’s native name is Kanchiri Ayuba. Ayuba who escaped from bandits captivity in Kaduna state on Tuesday last week after going through hell.

A Gbagyi by tribe from Maraban Rido in Chikun LGA of Kaduna state, Ayuba spent over 24hours in the bushes hopelessly.

On the said day, Ayuba reportedly went to Sabon Gida, an area located between Kujama, Chikun LG headquarters and popular Maraban Rido, to fetch firewood, the main stay of livelihood for himself and his family, when luck ran out on him.

Ayuba was grabbed by bandits alongside with one other person who perhaps remains with the bandits with several other victims.

According to a Cousin who narrated the ugly story to our correspondent Monday, Aruba’s first attempt to escape was detected and he was caught. From the day he was caught, Aruba’s punishment became double in terms of number of cane he received on daily basis.

However, the second attempt which was last week Tuesday was successful as Ayuba was able to find his way home through the bushes.

However, while Ayuba was wondering in the bush trying to find his way and bearing, the bandits were still busy calling on his family demanding for N1 millions. At some point the bandits asked the family to bring anything they could afford as ransom when Ayuba wasn in the bush with hunger and starvation to get back home safely.

However, happily enough, Ayuba who was kidnapped around kujama along Kachia road, later bursted out in Rijana along Kaduna- Ayuba expressway. As a Gwari Native man, it’s understandable that Ayuba may be use to some of the terrain a bit.

Ayuba who escaped bandits captivity on Saturday and arrived Rijana area on Monday, therefore spent roughly a whole day plus many hours in the bush looking for his way back home.

The question many have consistently asked without corresponding answers could be how he many to escaped twice, and whether he has an escape charm.

As we meet Ayuba, the victim to regain consciousness from the evil days of merciless, torture and flogging by the terrorists in Kaduna forest that belongs to the Gbagyi natives. Keep us posted.
