“Victor Osimhen Ends 485-Minute Goal Drought with Napoli’s Win Over Udinese”

By Milcah Tanimu

Victor Osimhen put an end to his five-game goal drought as he scored Napoli’s second goal in their convincing 4-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday.

The Nigerian striker found the back of the net in the 39th minute, breaking a dry spell that had stretched for 485 minutes without a goal. Earlier in the 19th minute, Osimhen had the opportunity to give Napoli the lead when they were awarded a penalty, but he selflessly passed the ball to Piotr Zielinski, who converted it to open the scoring.

Osimhen’s generosity paid off later in the match when he calmly slotted in Napoli’s second goal of the night, marking his fourth goal of the season.

In a memorable celebration, Osimhen rushed to the Napoli bench and shared a hug with the newly-signed Jesper Lindstrom, seemingly ignoring coach Rudi Garcia.

“Samuel Chukwueze Makes First Serie A Start for AC Milan in Win Over Cagliari”

Samuel Chukwueze earned his first Serie A start for AC Milan, contributing to their strong start in the league with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Cagliari on Wednesday.

Playing from the right flank, the Nigerian winger was substituted in the 69th minute for Luka Romero, making his sixth appearance across all competitions for AC Milan. Although he is yet to record a goal contribution for the Rossoneri, AC Milan has secured five wins out of six league games this season.

“At Long Last, Tyronne Ebuehi Helps Empoli Secure First Serie A Win”

Tyronne Ebuehi made an impact for Empoli, coming on for the injured Bartosz Bereszynski in the 17th minute. His contribution helped Empoli secure their first Serie A victory of the campaign, marking their sixth attempt, with a 1-0 home triumph over Salernitana at the Stadio Carlo Castellani.
