Visitation Panels A Boost To Kano Polytechnic – Dr. Dungurawa

The rector, Kano state polytechnic Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa disclosed that the recent Constitution of a visitation panel to tertiary institutions would boost academic and non- academic progress especially when the Kano state Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is working selflessly towards the development of education in the state.

He made the remark when he received the panel who paid him a courtesy call in his office, where he commended governor Ganduje for his concern to education sector which is a task that needs collective responsibility, adding that ” we thank his Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (Khadimul Islam) for his efforts to ensuring better education services in Kano state, and we are certain that Ganduje’s policies on education would yield profit in a near future”. He stressed.

Dr. Dungurawa announced that the visitation panel would receive the maximum supports to discharge their duties from the polytechnic because all hands would continue to remain on deck so as to enable the success of what was the purpose of the Constitution and inauguration of the panels by the Kano state governor to bring things into centre.

Earlier speaking, the chairman of the 6-Man visitation panel professor Muhammad Aminu Gwarzo stated that the Constitution and inauguration of the visitation panel is in line with the Kano state government’s policies to ensure that all educational activities remained in progress and the panel would work diligently to ensure promote institutional progression.

He added that “we would touch every section and interact with relevant stakeholders and assess the previous activities so as to find a strong foundation that will continue to protect, promote and brighten the development of academic pursuits due to modernise all aspects of educational system under the present administration”. He concluded.
