We are expecting Hitch-free Christmas In Kano

Christians in Kano described that this year’s Christmas would also be peaceful despites the economic situation, adding that preparations have been concluded to celebrate and offer prayers for national unity and peaceful coexistence.

Speaking to our correspondent when he visited some parts of Christians dominated parts of Kano city, some Christian youths announced that there is no sign of discomfort because the security situation is very satisfying as things goes normal everywhere.

Chief Chris Austine, a business man at Sabon Gari area told Daybreak News that ” We are here doing our business in a peaceful manner and we are happy with how the Kano state government protects us and our wealth for decades, and I am sure that this year’s Christmas celebrations would be Hitch-free like previous ones”.

Similarly John Ikechukwu a resident of Na’ibawa quarters said that despite economic challenges, they face no threat in Kano state and their activities are going smoothly that is why they described Kano as their home away from home because of the hospitality they enjoyed where he called on their brothers and relatives at South to shun any rumour claiming having any danger living in Kano state.

Our correspondent who visited some prominent areas in Sabon Gari, Na’ibawa, Brigade, Badawa and Ashton road reported that preparations for the Yuletude is ongoing while the security agencies busy monitoring the movements of the people from every route into the city of Kano.
