Yemi Alade Responds to Fan Comparing Her to Tiwa Savage

Nigerian Afrobeat singer Yemi Alade took on a fan who compared her to Tiwa Savage on Twitter. Yemi Alade had teased some exciting news for her fans, emphasizing the moment for Africa. When a fan suggested that she is better than Tiwa, Yemi discouraged such comparisons, asserting that both artists are successful in their own right. She emphasized that comparison steals joy and encouraged everyone to celebrate and support both musicians.

In previous interviews, Yemi Alade has addressed various aspects of her life, from the state of Nigeria to her stance on marriage. She emphasized the pressure she faces from family and friends to get married but asserted that finding the right partner is more important than succumbing to societal expectations. Despite rumors of a wedding with her manager, Taiye Aliyu, Yemi Alade has maintained that she is single.
